Ms. Amy Racicot
Hello, I'm Amy Racicot, native Vermonter, and educator for over 20 years. I am married to my husband Rob, and am a mother of two children, Calvin and Phoebe, and two stepchildren, Tom and Dan. I greatly enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy biking, camping, traveling, watching movies, having bonfires, and getting to the ocean, especially in Maine. I love the different seasons of Vermont and always look forward to apple picking, which is coming soon.
I graduated from University of Vermont with my Bachelor's degree, and Saint Michael's college with two Master's degrees; one in Curriculum and Instruction and the second in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). I have a huge passion for learning and strive to be a continual learner. I have studied with teachers around the globe in a teacher's program in Vichy, France.
I have taught French for the majority of my career, but I have had the privilege of teaching all subjects and all grades at one point or another in my years at various schools. I love teaching languages and culture. I have traveled to France, England, Bosnia, and Japan, and I hope to travel to many more places to learn even more about the people of this world.
This summer, I was super busy with my family and working around the house. I had a peaceful summer and look forward to this new school year of 2021-2022!
